7 Month Update
As reluctant as I was to try the Ferber Method, I do have to say that it really does work. Noah has been sleeping through the night for a couple of weeks now. Hurray! I never thought the day would come! He's getting so big and has quite a personality. When he laughs you can see the four teeth that are coming in on the top. Yes, he's cutting four teeth all at once. So, he wasn't a very happy boy last week. He hasn't quite figured out how to crawl yet. He'll raise his stomach off the ground and lift one of his legs way up in the air...and then he'll decide to just roll around and spin on his stomach to get where he wants to go. He's very interested in trying to walk, though. He'll hold onto your fingers and walk all around the house. He's still very wobbly on his legs (you would think those "rollie pollie" legs would be able to hold him up better!) but it won't be long before he's off and running.
We went to see Nanny McPhee last Sunday - our very first movie experience. I was pretty unsure about taking a baby to see a movie in a theater (especially with him teething) but he did remarkably well. We went with my two sister-in-laws (Jennifer and Carla) and Noah's cousins (Alyssa, Chris, Steven and Laney) while the "men folk" watched the Super Bowl. We all had a pretty good time - especially Steven and Laney.
